MTG Virtual Appliance
MTG Virtual Appliance runs the MTG ERS applications and their supporting services on an appliance cluster. You deploy Management with its ISO VM or as a Docker or Podman container, then use its browser interface to install, configure and operate that appliance.

Reconnect Management using the retained artifact bundle.
Know which System you are changing
Management has its own persistent state and administrator access. Use the supplied ISO VM or Docker, Compose or Podman on your own host. The managed appliance has its own nodes, application endpoints and data. ERS setup happens after appliance installation.
Keep the installation artifact bundle outside Management. You need it to reconnect and recover the appliance. See Files and bundles for the difference between installation media, access artifacts, backups and update content.
