MTG KMS Crypto API Server Components

The communication to the MTG KMS-Server takes place only through “localhost” if the MTG KMS Crypto API Server and the MTG KMS-Server are installed on the same system. In other situations, the communication should be secured by using SSL/TLS or VPN. The specific requirements, setup and the configuration of secure communication, is part of the customer’s IT-Security policies. Lastly, the customer stays responsible for the enforcement of these policies.

The MTG KMS Crypto API Server will be delivered in form of distribution-specific packages. Currently, the following distributions are supported:

To verify the integrity of the packages, a corresponding SHA-256 checksum as well as a PGP-Signature will be delivered for each package.
